Roles / Responsibilities :

DevOps Engineer is responsible building and maintaining Cloud infrastructure for Analytics Solution delivery with Azure Data Products. The role will involve working with and across multiple Agile Data teams to oversee deployments and operations support. This position will require demonstrated proficiency in with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) processes ,IaC (Infrastructure as Code), Database management, scripting and Automation.

Essential Responsibilities:(essential functions of this position include, but not limited to)

1. Design, configure, deploy, automate, and support Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) processes (Azure DevOps), pipelines and platforms.
2. Design a version control strategy, integrate source control, build & manage infrastructure, implement code flow, manage application configuration and secrets
3. Responsible for deployment pipelines code reviews, best practices, and framework maintenance.
4. Implement and improve possible automations for cloud environments using Azure native or 3rd party tools like Terraform, chef etc.
5. Contributes to the development of architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities
6. Design, Implement and improve zero-downtime release deployments
7. Monitor CI/CD builds and analyze trends to continuously improve performance and build times
8. Setup Release management and maintain wiki documentation for tools and write implementation plans
9. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving relational / distributed database operations and application deployment issues
